The Coral Gate .-->

The votes are in and it’s official; we will be having our Christmas get together at Dave and Buster’s off I-75 on Saturday, December 11th starting at 7pm, until we are done. The address for all you GPS enabled folks is 2215 D&B Drive, Marietta, GA. For all you non GPS folks, its off I-75 at Delk Rd. For everyone else, use Google! Bring enough cash for some food, drinks, and games if that’s your gig. Or just hang out and chat. Please, have a designated driver if you are going to be drinking.

Update your characters! Send me updates via email, text, PM, whatever. Remember that we will not be updating characters onsite after 3rd level. And I am not sure if we will have the books at D&B (it’s a lot of work keeping up with that data and stuff when I’m drinking )

Keep a weather eye to the forums, we have some rules clarifications coming up in the next few weeks (nothing game shattering, just stuff we should be doing, but aren’t), some new storylines starting up, as well as some new Chronicles.

Well gang, I have to tell you…..you guys have made The Coral Gate more successful than we had imagined possible! Thanks to all our great Actors, staff, monsters, and visiting friends; we couldn’t have done it without y’all. We have the best player base of any LARP we have been involved with. Seriously, you guys rock!!

It is time now to look forward to the 2011 season and keep the ball rolling. Don’t forget the Christmas get together in December at Dave and Busters; more on that in the forums. We have booked 8 full events in 2011 so far, the first will be at Camp Rutledge, March 18th – 20th. We will be announcing the rest after Christmas as we are getting ready to book two 1 day events in January and February. These two events combined will count as one event for leveling. We are also offering early season passes for 2011 at a price of $260 (slightly more if you are paying with PayPal, sorry but they hit us hard with charges) until March 18th. You can pay by check, credit card, cash, or PayPal (contact me for credit card or cash arrangements). The season pass is good for all 8 events in 2011, less parking, and will get you 25% off any additional events we book. There are also some unadvertised perks you get as well.

Now on to game stuff; monsoon season is upon us and the Shanty Town is virtually shut down. This doesn’t mean your character can’t do anything, such as interact with your favorite NPC, or interact on the forums. By all means keep your character’s life active by contacting the Staff, posting on the forums, and getting involved in the things that are, and will be, happening on the boards. We will be having some vendors, contacts, and story lines going throughout monsoon season to satisfy your game needs. We will even be doing some things online and in-play that you can earn experience for, including exceptional roleplay experience on the in-play boards and online modules!
